Files Connection

Overview

Remote tables can capture imported data from semi-structured Excel files into Financial Planning and Close & Consolidation. Multiple Excel files used for offline data collection can be imported directly without making any changes to users' Excel format or content with Financial Planning and Close & Consolidation's smart user interface for remote tables. After import, this structured data can be used for further data analysis, exploration, and even further data calculations, processing, or data visualizations.

Other Benefits

  • Data Collection: Aggregating data from multiple sources, both local and external.

  • Used for data processing and calculations.

  • Can be used for interim tables to apply logic and complex conditions.

  • Can be used as a reference from other tables (both local and external tables).

  • Can perform data exploration after importing.

  • Can view semi-structured data in a structured table format to view and analyze.

  • Analyze the table data in lists and web forms.
  • Generate reports on remote table data.

  • Support for, e.g., standard tables, sorting, aggregating, and filtering.
