Financial Reporting Add-in - Option to Save and Refresh Workbook Data Only

A new function in the Financial Reporting add-in now allows Builders to refresh and save data for the entire workbook instead of individual worksheets.

How to Restrict Refresh and Save Data by Workbook

To enable this restriction, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Explore Pane: Open the Financial Reporting add-in and go to the Explore pane.

2. Find Book Options: The Book Options are located below the Selections, User Context, and Tables.

   

3. Enable the Checkbox:

   1. By default, the system allows refreshing and saving data by individual sheets.
   2. If you enable the Refresh and Save Data by Book only checkbox, users will no longer see the Refresh and Save Data buttons for individual sheets.
   3. Instead, the default option will be to Refresh and Save Data by the entire workbook.
